Photography
Photography is a medium I use to express my interest in art and the world around me. I am particularly intrested in Tabletop Photography and Night Photography. I shoot all my shots at home using simple devices like the brightness of an Ipad, phone, using the screens as backgrounds etc. Since I like Tech devices I have taught myself about different DSLR camera's and diiferent lenses. I took Photography as my elective in 9th and Advanced Photography 2 in 10th grade. I was a member of my school's media club.
FAST SHUTTER SPEED
These photos were taken by me in school as part of my Photography Elective. It was to show space and speed using fast shutter speed. The camera used was the Nikon D3100. I wanted to experiment with fast moving objects so I chose to dip a tennis ball in water and throw it before taking the photo. The photo depicts the eruption of water spiralling out of the ball and the droplets getting smaller and smaller the further they are. This photo was later color graded in adobe lightroom and came out like this. These photos were chosen for the annual photography exhibition at school.

LONG EXPOSURE PHOTOGRAPHY
These photos were taken by me in school as part of my Photography Elective. It was an experiment with long exposure to lights. The camera used was the Nikon D3100. The idea was to use colorful lights to create cool designs in the photos. I decided to attach a long line of small LED's to a bicycle wheel and spin it behind people to create the circular lights shown in the photos.
PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY
I am interested in Product Photography and like to experiment with photos taken in dark backgrounds. All the below photographs have been taken at home during the Covid period in 2022 using backgrounds and lights available at home. I use computer screens and screen wallpapers, black Tshirts, wrapping papers as backgrounds. I use the phone and Ipad torchlights or bright screenlight to provide lighting for the photos. The focus was to get professional looking photos without any of the equipment. This forced me to be more creative in ways thatI can get the desired effects.
NATURE AT NIGHT
I am interested in Night Photography and photos taken against dark backgrounds. This is a little experiment I did while walking around my building complex in the night. Its normal to take photos of plants and flowers during the day to showcase their colors and beauty. I decided to capture the trees and flowers at night. There is a different stillness and beauty when only the flower is in focus. I used my phone to take these photos and tried to edit them on the phone itself to try and see if i can get similar effects without using proper softwares or any laptops or computers.

CYANOTYPES - THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHIC BLUEPRINTS
NATURE AT NIGHT
Using Cyanotype techniques I have created a series of photographs which depict forgotten people and memories. To create a forgotten person I have blacked out people in the photos. The idea conveyed is of being alone in a memory as the people in the photo are no longer with you. For example, the friend on the swing is no longer there at school with me, but the memory remains. The next image is of my mother giving me a heartfelt hug emphasizing that the memory of the emotion felt is more lasting rather than the person. The last slide depicts a gathering at home and specific guests may no longer be there but the moments still last in our memories. I used editing techniques like Multiplicities to create this scene, shooting different photos with just one person at diiferent locations and then combining all photos into one to create a gathering scene.
