ISHAAN PADUKONE
Grade 10
TECH + ART
I've always enjoyed researching and tinkering with various tech devices. In 8th grade, I was given an old Apple Watch with a broken screen to experiment with. I decided to try and repair it. I watched YouTube videos, ordered new parts, and managed to fix the screen and get the watch working again. This experience gave me a lot of confidence to try repairing phones.
When I can't fix the devices, I disassemble them, separate the parts, and glue them onto a sheet to create art frames. These frames, made from the inner parts of old phones, now hang proudly on the walls of my room.
